Abstract
O presente artigo apresenta uma leitura interdisciplinar sobre o “comum”, uma categoria política de grande relevância na reflexão atual com respeito às formas de organização social e econômica. Para esta explanação, contou-se com os valiosos estudos sociológicos de Pierre Dardot e Christian Laval sobre a categoria dos “comuns” e com estudos que salientam os aspectos teológicos presentes na atuação e reflexão sociopolítica do Papa Francisco. Este artigo tem por objetivo mostrar a relevância de se resgatar a noção do “comum” e como o pontificado do Papa Francisco se aproxima desta empreitada, ao apostar e defender, sob inspiração cristã, modos alternativos de se viver as relações sociais e econômicas, distintos da lógica neoliberal.
