The following year he and his brother John (#2907) were manufacturing soap from a Pearl St. address; and by 1849 were listed in Trow's city directory as perfumers on Fulton St. Sometime before 1860, the Radways, joined by John's two sons, were describing themselves as “manufacturing chemists” and proprietors of the anodyne Radway's Ready Relief .
