O artigo procura apresentar percepções de como o Neocolonial está presente no repertório arquitetônico da cultura amazônica. Entender não apenas como um testemunho simbólico de um determinado período, assim como repositório de valor afetivo, mas como um conjunto de elementos arquitetônicos constituintes de uma cultura. A partir da aplicação do método etnográfico, atentou-se a como ela se apresenta e reflete na sua interação ao meio circundante, a fim de detectar o seu eixo valorativo cultural, não só como estética na compreensão da memória de moradores desta cidade, auxiliando na leitura das permanências e apagamentos, mais na apreensão e enquadramentos no presente, enquanto parte da dinâmica cultural amazônica.
