Abstract
Alarmado com os fatores que envolvem os processos de ensino e aprendizagem da disciplina de Matemática na Educação Básica e com os/as docentes e discentes diante dos desafios presenciados no espaço escolar, o presente artigo tem como objetivo refletir a respeito das avaliações externas e sua relação com o currículo oculto, mais particularmente, em uma escola pública de Curitiba. Para esse fim, a pesquisa se pautará metodologicamente numa abordagem qualitativa, de cunho etnográfico utilizando a técnica da observação participante e apoiar-se-á em teóricos críticos do campo do currículo que investigam o currículo oculto. O exercício analítico realizado indicou a carência de atitudes autônomas, uma presença evidente de obediência, individualismo e um conformismo atuante nos diversos segmentos dessa comunidade escolar. Evidencia-se que as ações do currículo oculto que se apresenta, ainda são de validação e aceitação das avaliações centralizadas ofertadas pelas instituições externas à escola e que o corpo docente se apresenta carente de percepção das intencionalidades desses órgãos.
