Abstract
En 2014, la province du Nouveau-Brunswick s’est dotée d’un plan d’action pour favoriser l’immigration, ce qui a eu pour conséquence une augmentation d’élèves dans le système scolaire francophone. Or ces élèves peuvent vivre des défis identitaires et scolaires, et les personnes enseignantes formées à l’étranger joueraient un rôle auprès d’eux en tant que personnes médiatrices culturelles. Pourtant, la présence et l’expérience de recrutement des personnes enseignantes formées à l’étranger dans le système scolaire francophone du Nouveau-Brunswick restent peu documentées. Notre étude cherche à comprendre l’expérience de recrutement de six de ces personnes qui ont choisi d’enseigner au Nouveau-Brunswick. Nous voulons identifier les incitations et les défis rencontrés dans leur embauche, et les pratiques en matière de recrutement qui, selon elles, appuient leur insertion professionnelle.
