Este es el contexto en el que la revista Artigrama decide dedicar la parte monográfica del presente número al tema “Zaragoza, ciudad creativa: edificios singulares, nuevos espacios para la cultura y el arte en el siglo XXI”, en el que se incluyen estudios puntuales de los museos y centros culturales más relevantes de la ciudad. Se trata de una radiografía de las infraestructuras culturales en un momento concreto de la ciudad, que sin duda tendrá gran valor para los investigadores presentes y futuros, puesto que aporta (ese era nuestro objetivo) la presentación y análisis de la situación de todos estos espacios culturales al concluir 2013. Para ello hemos contado con la experta opinión de quienes mejor los conocen: sus gestores y responsables técnicos. En este sentido, quizás algunos de los artículos se apartan de la tradicional orientación de esta revista, estrictamente ligada al marco de la investigación histórica, pero, a cambio, aportan la experiencia de la gestión en unos textos que quedarán como fuentes de uso obligado para aquellos profesionales que en el futuro deseen conocer la filosofía que inspiró a los principales museos y centros de arte de la ciudad en el segundo decenio del siglo XXI, quiénes eran los promotores culturales y en qué medida todo ello ha incidido en el tejido urbano de la Zaragoza moderna, singularizándola.
