Abstract
Este trabalho analisa comparativamente os discursos da política externa brasileira durante os períodos em que prezou o multilateralismo (governos Médici/Geisel e Lula) e os argumentos de autoridades palestinas em busca de apoio político e reconhecimento internacional. São analisadas também as respostas obtidas em arenas multilaterais com o objetivo de qualificar o animius da política internacional sobre o tema. O pressuposto é o de que o posicionamento brasileiro sobre a Questão Palestina é estratégico para sua inserção como ator global, resultando em relevante capital político a ser explorado em outras agendas.
