Abstract
Objetivou-se analisar a influência dos responsáveis legais na adesão à vacina contra HPV por meninas e adolescentes no Brasil e identificar ações realizadas para aumentar o processo de adesão. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, de caráter descritivo e abordagem qualitativa, utilizando o recorte temporal de 2014 a 2018, com busca nas seguintes bases de dados: LILACS, Redalyc e Pubmed. Foram selecionados 14 estudos para análise. Evidenciou-se que os meios socioculturais, econômicos e religiosos influenciam na postura do pai ou da mãe em relação à adesão a vacina para seus filhos, assim como o nível de educação. Neste cenário, o enfermeiro atua como sujeito de grande relevância no processo de educação em saúde/orientação aos pais, crianças e adolescentes, nas unidades de saúde. Conclui-se que existe uma relação direta de influência dos pais/representantes legais e adesão à vacina, sendo a educação em saúde uma importante estratégia na desmistificação de tabus, sanando dúvidas seja sobre a vacina, HPV ou câncer de colo de útero.
