Abstract
Gizi pada masyarakat merupakan salah satu fokus pembangunan kesehatan diSustainable Development Goals (SDG's) tahun 2016-2030. Gizi menjadi faktor kunci dalamkeberhasilan perbaikan status kesehatan masyarakat Indonesia dan dunia karena gizi yangbaik meningkatkan standar kesehatan masyarakat. Perbaikan status gizi dimulai pada asupandi 1.000 hari pertama kelahiran. Untuk itu gizi bayi dalam kandungan dan pemberian ASIsetelah lahir merupakan unsur penting dalam mempersiapkan kesehatan anak. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah menggunakan metode korelasionaldengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu postpartum di wilayah kerja puskesmas Sumber Sari Bantul pada bulan November – Desember2019. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah dengan cara consecutive sampling.Pemilihan sampel dalam penelitian ini mulai bulan November - Desember 2019 yangmemenuhi kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi sebagai responden. Hasil penelitian di dapatkan pengetahuan ibu post partum tentang perawatanpayudara paling banyak adalah cukup yaitu sebesar 19 responden (57,6 %). Kelancaranproduksi ASI ibu post partum paling banyak adalah tidak lancar yaitu sebesar 23 responden(69,7 %). Nilai chi kuadrat hitung lebih besar dari chi kuadrat tabel dimana H0 diterima yang dapat diartikan ada hubungan pengetahuan ibu post partum tentang perawatanpayudara dengan kelancaran produksi ASI. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu postpartum tentang perawatan payudara dengan kelancaran produksi ASI di Wilayah kerjaPuskesmas Sumbersari Bantul pada bulan November-Desember 2019. Sehingga disarankankepada ibu hamil untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang perawatan payudara sehinggasetelah melahirkan sudah siap untuk memberikan ASI bagi bayinya.
