Abstract
Air Susu Ibu (ASI) merupakan makanan pertama, utama dan terbaik bagi bayi yang bersifat alamiah. ASI mengandung berbagai zat gizi yang dibutuhkan dalam proses pertumbuhan danperkembangan bayi. Selain itu ASI juga mengandung zat kekebalan yang akan melindungi bayi dariberbagai penyakit infeksi bakteri, virus, parasit dan jamur. Cakupan ASI Ekslusif pada bayi 0-6 bulan di Provinsi Lampung tahun 2012 sebesar 29,24%,angka ini masih ada di bawah target yang diharapkan yaitu 80% (Profil Kesehatan Provinsi LampungTahun 2012). Cakupan bayi yang mendapatkan ASI Eksklusif di Puskesmas Sukadana LampungTimur yaitu sebesar 13,1% (Profil Dinas Kesehatan Lampung Timur Tahun 2014). Tujuan penelitianini untuk mengetahui Gambaran Faktor Ibu yang Memberikan ASI Eksklusif Pada Bayi Usia 6-12Bulan di Desa Sukadana Ilir Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sukadana Lampung Timur Tahun 2016.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah ibu yangmemberikan ASI Eksklusif pada bayi usia 6-12 bulan di Desa Sukadana Ilir Wilayah Kerja PuskesmasSukadana yang berjumlah 42 responden. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling.JenisPengumpulan data menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Alat ukur menggunakankuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat.Hasil penelitian dari 42 responden, pada analisis univariat diperoleh mayoritas distribusifrekuensi pendidikan ibu adalah pendidikan menengah yaitu sebanyak 25 responden (59,5%),pendapatan keluarga ≤UMK yaitu sebanyak 32 responden (76,2%) dan ibu sehat sebanyak 36responden (85,7%).Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ibu yang memberikan ASI Eksklusif pada bayi usia 6-12bulan di Desa Sukadana Ilir Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sukadana Tahun 2016 adalah mayoritas ibuyang berpendidikan menengah,memiliki pendapatan keluarga ≤UMK dan ibu sehat. Petugas kesehatandapat meningkatkan KIE kepada ibu menyusui tentang manfaat ASI Eksklusif dan keluarga dapatmendukung ibu untuk memberikan ASI Eksklusif pada bayi.
