Abstract
Hintergrund Die angeborene antivirale Atemwegsabwehr kann durch die Gabe von Liganden der TLR/RLR-Signalpfade stimuliert werden. Ein solcher Ligand ist Polyinosinsäure : Polycytidinsäure (Poly(I:C)). Die Transfektion von Atemwegsepithelzellen (J Immunol 2015; 195: 2829-2841) und Makrophagen (Eur Respir J 2017, 50, PA2030) mit dem in pH-sensitiven Liposomen enkapsulierten Poly(I:C) führt zu einer potenten Freisetzung antiviraler Faktoren durch Stimulierung des RLR-Signalpfades. Dies wirkt jedoch auf die Makrophagen zytotoxisch (Eur Respir J 2018, 52, PA1055).
