Abstract
Les grands projets d’exploitation des territoires du Nord québécois ont permis d’ouvrir nos horizons dans une perspective de développement durable, mais ces projets ont parfois mis en lumière certains de nos angles morts, notamment en ce qui a trait aux relations de confiance que l’État et les entreprises qui chapeautent ces démarches doivent nouer avec les Premières Nations et les Inuits (PNI). Pour minimiser la méfiance ambiante, il est essentiel que les membres des communautés concernées fassent partie de tous les processus de décision et qu’une réflexion collective soit menée quant à la meilleure façon de valoriser leurs savoirs et leurs compétences.
