Abstract
Après une compréhension historicisée de la notion d’« asile », de ses conditions en Afrique, et de ses transformations internationales depuis la Seconde Guerre Mondiale et les Indépendances africaines, cet article offre dans un second temps une analyse de la protection des réfugiés et des demandeurs d'asile et de ses limites au Sénégal. L’analyse explore les différentes mesures prises par les autorités sénégalaises au fil des décennies, au regard du système de protection africain des réfugiés et du droit international en la matière. Cet article souhaite ainsi contribuer à orienter vers une réforme du droit d’asile à l'échelle locale.
