Abstract
This session illustrates the scope of what integrated circuits may become in the future. The back-end-of-line (BEOL) hosts 3D memory in 13.1 and dielectric waveguides in 13.5. Signal processing is shown with low-power mixed-signal circuits in 13.2 and with reconfigurable photonics in 13.6. Energy harvesting circuit operation is enabled in 0.1mm-class systems in 13.3 and in wafer scribe lines in 13.4.
