Abstract
Le quartier Fonderie de Mulhouse a la particularité d’être un « quartier prioritaire de la politique de la ville » (QPV) accueillant une faculté. Cependant, il ne déroge pas à la règle du cloisonnement entre les différentes populations le fréquentant. La mise en oeuvre de dispositifs de soutien scolaire et des cours de FLI (français langue d’intégration), au sein même de cette faculté, a changé les représentations, tant chez les habitants du quartier que chez les étudiants et le personnel universitaire. Cette étude à valeur heuristique propose de comprendre les mécanismes et les enjeux liés à la territorialité, les frontières et la mixité sociale à travers des actions socioéducatives sur le quartier Fonderie.
