Abstract
Depuis les obsèques de Johnny Hallyday à La Madeleine, avec mille efforts, Denise — fille des corons du Pas de Calais — écrit une trentaine de lettres au curé qui a officié durant la cérémonie. Par un tracé de mots malaisé, des phrases inachevées, à l’aide des « paroles de Johnny », elle s’aventure à écrire son quotidien. Son mari meurt quelques mois après ; sa fougue redouble alors d’expression. Dans ce double veuvage, on peut y reconnaître un véritable exercice réflexif « sur soi » où la frontière entre « le su et le cru » se déplace constamment. Des maximes de vie découpées dans la presse lui permettent de planter « des pensées » dans ses habitudes quotidiennes et se mêlent très banalement aux marques religieuses. Affects et émotions, hontes et fiertés se succèdent. Notre attention envers cette correspondance répond au projet de mener une sociologie des formes de réflexivité populaire qui surgissent dans ces moments discrets, ces conduites intimes qui circulent sans crier gare.
