Este estudo constituiu uma proposta da disciplina Texto e Ensino, ministrada no Programa de Mestrado Profissional em Letras-Profletras, na Universidade Estadual de Mato Grosso do Sul - UEMS, Unidade de Dourados/MS, no ano de 2019. A experiência que ora descrevemos tem a finalidade de realizar a leitura dos recursos semióticos de uma peça publicitária, sob a ótica da metafunção interpessoal. Os estudos foram fundamentados na visão Sistêmico-Funcional de Kress e Van Leeuwen (2006), Rojo (2012), entre outros estudiosos. As experiências vivenciadas neste estudo proporcionaram contribuições tanto teóricas como práticas acerca da semiótica visual e social e da produção de sentidos
