A escrita teatral contemporânea é uma escritura da falta, no sentido de que há uma escolha consciente dos autores e autoras em deixar lacunas na dramaturgia que possam ser preenchidas pela experiência dramatúrgica do espectador. Na discussão entre Peter Szondi (2001), Jean-Pierre Sarrazac (2012), Hans-Thies Lehmann (2007) e Sí­lvia Fernandes (2010), as inovações trazidas pelo formato contemporâneo e pós-dramático aparecem como novas possibilidades de encarar o drama. E essa "crise do drama" interfere também na escrita dramatúrgica de autoria feminina no Brasil e, especificamente, no Paraná, foco da pesquisa de mestrado em andamento. Aqui apresentamos uma parte do estudo, ilustrando com a obra de Patrí­cia Kamis (2009).
