Abstract
Basé sur un corpus journalistique, cet article analyse le regard que porte la presse québécoise sur le référendum qui a eu lieu sur l’indépendance de l’Écosse en septembre 2014. Il révèle le processus de comparaison, qui s’accompagne d’un phénomène de réappropriation et met en évidence une sorte de cause commune qui unit le mouvement souverainiste québécois et son homologue écossais, le référendum marquant le point culminant dans cette affinité.
