Laporan Kasus: Penanganan Canine Transmissible Venereal Tumor pada Labrador Retriever Betina dengan Eksisi dan Kemoterapi

Abstract
Canine transmissible venereal tumor (CTVT) atau dikenal sebagai infeksius sarcoma, merupakan tumor kelamin yang menular melalui kontak seksual, gigitan ataupun jilatan pada daerah lesi tumor. Seekor anjing Labrador Retriever betina berusia 7 tahun dengan bobot badan 40 kg diperiksa dengan keluhan adanya massa menyerupai kembang kol pada bagian vulva disertai leleran berupa darah segar. Hasil pemeriksaan histopatologi menunjukkan adanya sel tumor yang teridentifikasi sebagai CTVT dengan karakteristik berbentuk homogen polyhedral dan tersusun dalam stroma. Penanganan dilakukan dengan melakukan eksisi massa tumor. Sebelum pembedahan diberikan premedikasi atropine sulfate (0.02 mg/kg) secara intramuskuler dan 15 menit kemudian diinduksi menggunakan kombinasi xylazine (1 mg/kg) dan ketamin (10 mg/kg). Pasca operasi diberikan injeksi antibiotik amoxicillin (7 mg/kg) secara intramuskuler dan antibiotik amoxicillin 500 mg (15 mg/kg) pada hari kedua pasca operasi, diberikan secara per oral tiga kali sehari selama lima hari. Pada hari ke-5 pasca operasi, luka insisi tumor sudah mengering serta bengkak pada vulva sudah jauh berkurang, namun masih terdapat leleran darah menandakan masih adanya sel venereal yang tertinggal. Kemoterapi dosis pertama menggunakan vincristine sulfate (0.025 mg/kg) diberikan pada hari ketujuh pasca operasi dengan interval waktu satu minggu sekali. Leleran darah sudah tidak ada pada hari ke 7 pasca kemo pertama. Dengan ini disimpulkan bahwa penanganan kasus CTVT dengan metode eksisi disertai kemoterapi memberikan hasil yang baik terhadap kesembuhan pasien. Disarankan untuk melakukan tes hematologi dan ekokardiografi sebelum melakukan kemoterapi untuk memastikan kondisi pasien dalam keadaan stabil.
