Abstract
Cet article présente les résultats d’une étude sur le télétravail des enseignant·es guadeloupéen·nes (département français d’Outre-mer) en situation de confinement. L’enquête avait pour objectif de mettre au jour les conditions de vie et de travail de cette population pendant l’épidémie de Covid-19. Les résultats obtenus montrent que les stratégies de smartworking mises en place par le gouvernement français et les administrations locales pour faire face à la crise ont engendré une surcharge de travail et un haut niveau d’insatisfaction chez les enseignant·es de l’île, tout en mettant en lumière une série d’inégalités. De plus, il s’avère que les enseignant·es n’ont atteint que partiellement leurs objectifs éducatifs et ont subi le manque de moyens techniques et de ressources numériques dont souffrent les territoires ultramarins.
