Abstract
Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari program dan kegiatan yang dilaksanakan di desa Cibeureum Wetan Kecamatan Cimalaka Kabupaten Sumedang. Dari hasil pendampingan yang dilakukan terhadap masyarakat Desa Cibeureum Wetan tahun 2013-2014 dengan berbagai kegiatan pendidikan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat, diperlukan upaya lanjutan di bidang lingkungan yang terkait dengan pemeliharaan infrastruktur yang sudah dibangun serta pengelolaan sampah secara mandiri. Program pengabdian Desa Binaan ini memiliki dua sasaran program dan kegiatan yang akan dikembangkan yaitu: pertama, mengembangkan model pemberdayaan kegiatan pengelolaan lingkungan dengan konsep Community Architecture dan Community Based Development. Kedua, pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga dan sampah lingkungan dengan mengembangkan Konsep Bank Sampah yang diprogramkan oleh Deputi Bidang pengelolaan B3, Limbah dan Sampah Kementrian Lingkungan Hidup.
