Abstract
Muchos estudios describen el perfil y edad promedio de los tenistas hombres y mujeres mejor clasificados (Tennis Canada 1993ª, 1993b; Treleven y Miley; 1996a, 1996b). El presente estudio investigó la transición de la clasificación entre las 10 Mejores Juniors de la ITF a las 100 mejores del Circuito de la WTA durante un período de 10 años entre 1996 y 2005. La intención de este estudio fue establecer un rango de marcas estadísticas que los entrenadores y las Federaciones puedan utilizar para los jugadores que desean hacer una carrera en el Circuito WTA.
