The 59th IEEE Nuclear and Space Radiation Effects Conference (NSREC) was held from July 18 to 22, 2022, at the Utah Valley Convention Center in Provo, UT, USA. The conference was a wonderful return to the inperson format for the first time since 2019. The 2022 NSREC was attended by 522 engineers, scientists, managers, students, and exhibitors. International participation was also strong, with 76 non-U.S. attendees from Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
