Abstract
No contexto atual do totalitarismo de mercado as relações econômicas e humanas são mediadas pela racionalidade neoliberal presentes nos diferentes setores da vida social. A educação também vem sendo orientada por fundamentos e práticas que atendem à demanda mercadológica. Neste artigo, analisa-se de que maneira essa racionalidade modifica as formas de ser no mundo e transforma o processo educacional dos neossujeitos. Para tal empreitada tem-se como principal referência teórica a obra “A nova razão do mundo: ensaio sobre a sociedade neoliberal” de Christian Laval e Pierre Dardot. Os objetivos propostos são a caracterização de um novo modelo de sujeito criado a partir do surgimento da corrente político-econômica conhecida como neoliberal e a identificação de comportamentos e atitudes desse neossujeito no interior da instituição educacional que se configura pela lógica empresarial.
