Abstract
Les retombées associées à l’obtention par les travailleur·euses d’une qualification professionnelle sont largement documentées (Organisation de coopération et de développement économique, 2022). Toutefois, les connaissances à l’égard des enjeux didactiques qui sont propres aux formations professionnelles initiales de niveau secondaire (p. ex., ébénisterie, secrétariat, pâtisserie) sont moindres, limitant ainsi l’amélioration des pratiques éducatives qui y prévalent. Le présent numéro thématique s’intéresse donc aux particularités de la situation pédagogique, notamment à travers le regard de l’élève qui se forme à l’exercice d’un métier spécialisé. Les textes présentés se penchent spécifiquement sur le sujet apprenant, ses relations à l’égard de l’agent ou à l’égard de l’objet de formation et à la contribution potentielle du milieu dans lequel il ou elle se retrouve.
