Abstract
Plagosus (« la main leste ») Orbilius, soucieux de faire apprendre à ses élèves plutôt que de leur enseigner, représente le parangon d’un enseignement brutal et centré sur la transmission de connaissances. À l’autre extrémité du spectre des possibles, la pédagogie positive peut pousser l’enseignant à s'effacer afin de permettre à l'étudiant d'apprendre dans un environnement sécurisant et bienveillant. Si plagosus Orbilius n’enseigne pas (puisqu’il fait apprendre), l’enseignement trop soucieux de veiller et de prendre soin peut tout autant de pas enseigner ni garantir l’affranchissement des étudiants.
