Abstract
Après avoir exposé trois tendances qui apparaissent dans de nombreuses théorisations du concept d’avant-garde en arts et en littérature, soit la téléologie, la réification et le manichéisme, cette contribution met en lumière une perspective permettant de lire tant les antagonismes que les conformismes des objets dits d’avant-garde. Informé par la pensée de Colette Guillaumin, plus spécifiquement par sa réflexion sur le rapport majoritaire-minoritaires dans L’idéologie raciste, l’article propose trois pistes pour dénaturaliser l’interprétation du concept d’avant-garde : la minorisation, le contre-discours oppositionnel et l’utopisme.
