Cet article s’attache à certaines métaphores et à certains paradigmes sous-tendant l’analyse de l’intégration des autochtones au système biomédical. À partir d’exemples précis, celui du rapport des Inuit et de leur système de médecine au système biomédical et celui des commentaires sur les évacuations médicales des autochtones vers les centres urbains, l’auteur cherche à illustrer certaines contradictions issues d’un télescopage des niveaux d’analyse.
