0027ZRESUMENEl relato corto En el umbral, publicado en 1954 por Josefina de la Torre, es un texto narrativo en el que encontramos determinados símbolos y elementos que fueron utilizados por los escritores de los movimientos de vanguardia, especialmente por los artistas del surrealismo. Este artículo pretende realizar un análisis de dichos símbolos y elementos, para comprobar la influencia que estas corrientes estéticas seguían produciendo en la escritura de Josefina de la Torre en el momento de publicación del cuento.
