Praticiennes en psychiatrie légale, nous présenterons le parcours d’une patiente suivie dans une unité forensique, en reprenant son cheminement vers le passage à l’acte criminel, nous l’analyserons au regard des fonctions du mythe et de l’histoire de Médée. Notre propos s’articulera autour de réflexions psychopathologiques propres aux femmes auteurs d’infanticide, mettant en exergue les paradoxes de la féminité soulevés par le mythe et la place du couple homme/femme. Dans ce mythe, que peut figurer le couple Médée-Jason de la part perverse dans une relation amoureuse régie par des enjeux de domination entre les partenaires et comment l’issue d’une telle relation est-elle vouée, à une destruction du lien, voire du fruit de ce lien?
