Abstract
Este relato de experiência versa sobre uma sequência pedagógica com o tema Luta Marajoara, proposta para uma turma do 3º ano do ensino fundamental de uma escola pública do município de Soure, Arquipélago do Marajó, Pará. O objetivo foi apresentar perspectivas didático-pedagógicas relacionadas à Luta Marajoara e contribuir para sua sistematização nas aulas de Educação Física. A sequência foi distribuída em três aulas contempladas pelos aspectos culturais e tradicionais; pelos fundamentos e ações motoras; por atividades lúdicas e jogos de oposição; e, por fim, pela realização de um mini torneio. Observou-se que o ensino da Luta Marajoara foi um dispositivo para os alunos valorizarem sua própria cultura, assim como refletir sobre o modo como desenvolvemos nossas identidades. A delimitação dos objetivos, a organização das estratégias metodológicas e a adoção de instrumentos/recursos alternativos para o ensino de Luta Marajoara resultou em uma experiência positiva e criativa para a formação dos estudantes.
