Abstract
O objetivo deste ensaio é apresentar uma reflexão acerca da historicidade da forma de apropriação do espaço geográfico da América Latina a partir de sua inserção no contexto do desenvolvimento do capitalismo. Consequentemente de sua inserção no modelo civilizacional do Antropoceno. Sem embargo, as reflexões são enquadradas com um diapasão teórico constituído pela Economia Ecológica. Pela Ecologia Política e pela Ecologia Social.
