Abstract
The year 2022 marked the 70th anniversary of IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON ANTENNAS AND PROPAGATION. The birth of the Journal was announced in a Special Issue of the “News and Views,” which was shared back then with all 1100 members of the Professional Group on Antennas and Propagation (PGAP). The journal’s designations evolved from Transactions of the IRE PGAP (1952–1955) to IRE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation (1955–1962) and, finally, to IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON ANTENNAS AND PROPAGATION, as the Journal is known today.
