Abstract
Première femme à remporter le Prix d’Europe en composition, à l’avant-garde de l’écriture et de la recherche en musique électroacoustique, militante pour les arts et le rôle du compositeur dans la société, Micheline Coulombe Saint-Marcoux est indéniablement une pionnière dans son milieu. Elle fut également la première Québécoise à composer une oeuvre pour percussion solo. Dans la lignée des Zyklus (1959) de Karlheinz Stockhausen et Intérieur I (1966) de Helmut Lachenmann, Trakadie (1970) pour percussion et sons fixés représente le début de cette discipline au Québec. En plus d’offrir une analyse de Trakadie, cet article replace également l’oeuvre dans son contexte en traitant de deux autres pièces écrites par Coulombe Saint-Marcoux dans les mêmes années : Séquences (1968, rév. 1973) et Épisodie II (1972).
