Abstract
Première femme à remporter le Prix d’Europe en composition, à l’avant-garde de l’écriture et de la recherche en musique électroacoustique, militante pour les arts et le rôle du compositeur dans la société, Micheline Coulombe Saint-Marcoux est indéniablement une pionnière dans son milieu. Elle fut également la première Québécoise à composer une oeuvre pour percussion solo. Dans la lignée des Zyklus (1959) de Karlheinz Stockhausen et Intérieur I (1966) de Helmut Lachenmann, Trakadie (1970) pour percussion et sons fixés représente le début de cette discipline au Québec. En plus d’offrir une analyse de Trakadie , cet article replace également l’oeuvre dans son contexte en traitant de deux autres pièces écrites par Coulombe Saint-Marcoux dans les mêmes années : Séquences (1968, rév. 1973) et Épisodie II (1972).
