Abstract
Este artigo analisa os primeiros impactos da implementação do Novo Ensino Médio nas escolas estaduais do município de Anápolis, Goiás, com ênfase no ensino de Sociologia. A fundamentação teórica é constituída por teorias críticas do currículo (sobretudo de Pierre Bourdieu e Paulo Freire) e análises sobre as implicações educacionais do neoliberalismo (com Christian Laval, Newton Duarte e Luiz Carlos de Freitas). A pesquisa envolveu trabalho de análise qualitativa desenvolvida entre janeiro e novembro de 2022, cujos dados foram obtidos através de análise documental e entrevistas semiestruturadas com os professores da rede pública estadual. Os resultados visam compreender os impactos na educação, sobretudo no ensino de Sociologia, e os interesses que o novo modelo assinala.
