Abstract
Notre contribution portera sur la méthode très singulière de la sémiotique de Ferruccio Rossi-Landi proposant une homologie entre la production linguistique et la production matérielle, qui permet de montrer les aspects sémiotiques de l’économie au sens strict. Il s’agira, tout d’abord, de relever la spécificité et l’originalité de l’approche matérialiste-dialectique de Rossi-Landi; puis, de mettre en évidence sa considération des messages comme marchandises et des marchandises comme messages; ensuite, de souligner sa reconnaissance de l’intuition sémiotique de Marx lorsqu’il a fait l’analyse du caractère purement signique de la valeur d’échange dans Le Capital. Enfin, nous présenterons quelques prolongements et intersections possibles des théories rossi-landiennes vis-à-vis des analyses récentes de l’actuelle phase capitaliste et du rôle exorbitant des messages-marchandises dans notre époque de production-communication.
