Abstract
Pendahuluan: Lansia atau lanjut usia adalah seseorang yang telah mencapai usia lebih dari 60 tahun. Lansia tidak lepas dari proses degenerasi. Akibat dari proses penuaan atau proses degenerasi pada kondisi tubuh lansia menyebabkan menurunnya fungsi tubuh lansia, salah satunya adalah gangguan fungsi kognitif. Gangguan fungsi kognitif menyebabkan penurunan visuospasial, fungsi eksekutif, memori, atensi, dan kecepatan pengolahan informasi yang dapat menyebabkan penurunan kemampuan mempertahankan keseimbangan postural pada lansia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara gangguan fungsi kognitif dengan keseimbangan postural pada lansia di Desa Pejeng Kaja, Tampaksiring, Gianyar. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan crossectional yang dilakukan pada bulan pada bulan September 2021 sampai dengan Maret 2022. Pengambilan subjek dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Jumlah subjek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 56 subjek yang merupakan lansia di Desa Pejeng Kaja, Tampaksiring, Gianyar. Peneliti mengukur tingkat fungsi kognitif subjek dengan kuisoner Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA-Ina) yang dilakukan dengan wawancara secara langsung. Setelah itu, subjek diminta untuk mengikuti tes Time Up Go Test (TUGT) yang digunakan untuk mengukur keseimbangan postural. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis bivariat dengan uji korelasi spearman rho. Hasil: Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan nilai signifikansi p value=0,001, p<0,05 dan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,427. Simpulan: Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan antara gangguan fungsi kognitif dengan keseimbangan postural pada lansia di desa Pejeng Kaja, Tampaksiring, Gianyar.
