Abstract
Permasalahan yang dialami oleh Bapak Cornelius Simbolon adalah mengenai kendala pengetahuannya tentang pendaftaran identitas wajib pajak agar memperoleh Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak (NPWP), karena akan mendirikan PT Perorangan atas usaha UMKM yang telah dikerjakan selama ini NPWP menjadi salah satu syaratnya. NPWP adalah sebuah tanda pengenal atau identitas diri yang diberikan oleh Direktorat Jenderal Pajak kepada para wajib Pajak (Pasal 1 angka 6 UU No. 28 Tahun 2007 tentang Perubahan Ketiga atas UU No. 6 Tahun 1983 tentang Ketentuan Umum dan tata Cara Perpajakan). Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tahapan persiapan, tahapan pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Melalui kegiatan konsultasi ini Bapak Cornelius Simbolon semakin memahami hukum tentang prosedur pengurusan melalui Online Single Submission (OSS). Bapak Cornelius Simbolon juga mengetahui tentang pentingmya memiliki NPWP dihubungkan dengan kebijakan pemerintah untuk memberikan bantuan ataupun keringanan kepada pelaku usaha UMKM yang diamanatkan UU No. 11 Tahun 2020 tentang Cipta Kerja. Penjelasan tentang upaya pengurusan administrasi Pendaftaran NPWP Pribadi maupun Badan (PT Perseorangan), dapat dilakukan melalui online maupun langsung. Efisiensi dalam masa pandemi Covid-19 sejalan dengan Instruksi Menteri Dalam Negeri No. 30 Tahun 2022 tentang Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat Level 2 dan Level 1 serta Mengoptimalkan POSKO Penanganan Covid-19 di Tingkat Desa dan Kelurahan untuk Pengendalian Penyebaran Covid-19 di Wilayah Sumatera, Nusatenggara, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku dan Papua, maka Bapak Cornelius dipandu langsung untuk melakukan pendaftaran secara online hingga diterbitkan NPWP-nya.
