Abstract
Kuok adalah sebuah kecamatan di Kabupaten Kampar, Riau, Indonesia yang memiliki luas wilayah 6.000 Ha. Desa Kuok merupakan Desa Wisata dimana memiliki destinasi keindahan alamnya yang dapat dijadikan sebagai objek wisata. Tidak hanya memiliki objek wisata, Desa Kuok juga memiliki tradisi budaya yang khas yang patut untuk dilestarikan kepada generasi – generasi muda, seperti tradisi manggelek tobu yang memiliki nilai nilai budaya bagi masyarakat. Pewarisan nilai – nilai budaya ini harus terus diturunkan bagi generasi selanjutnya agar tradisi budaya tidak hilang ditengah zaman yang terus berkembang. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk melestarikan tradisi manggelek tobu yang menghasilkan produk nisan khas Desa Kuok sehingga dapat dikenal oleh masyarakat luas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu melalui obsevasi dan wawancara. Pembuatan nisan berbahan dasar tebu ini dilakukan dengan cara yang khas yaitu yang dikenal dengan manggelek tobu. Pembuatan nisan dimulai dengan sortasi tebu, penggilingan atau gelek tebu dan proses pemasakan yang memakan waktu 12 jam hingga menjadi produk nisan
