Our top downloads for the ASTRO's Advances in Radiation Oncology in 2022 were focused on a variety of topics, reflecting shifting interests in our profession with reirradiation, hypofractionation, and symptom management to improve both the short-term and long-term quality of life of our patients. Table 1 contains a list and links to our 20 most downloaded articles in 2022. Approximately half of our top 20 downloads relate to hypofractionation and reirradiation/symptom management. Table 2 contains our top 5 most citated articles in 2022. We anticipate receiving an Impact Factor later this year. Currently, our CiteScore, an alternative measure of impact using 4 years of data rather than data from the previous 2 years that Impact Factor measures, is 4.3 (Fig. 1). With a total 6266 citations of our journal articles published between 2016 and 2022, Advances is the global leader among open-access radiation journals for number of citations (Fig. 2). As an open-access journal, Advances is always freely available to any health care professional or researcher in the world.
