Abstract
Evidências recentes sugerem que a implantação depende do equilíbrio na expressão de diversas proteínas e fatores de crescimento.Assim, a preparação do endométrio para implantação depende não apenas da estimulação por hormônios esteróides, mas também de uma interação com o blastocisto.Fatores de crescimento, citocinas, fatores de transcrição, moléculas de adesão secretadas pelo embrião e pelo endométrio são os responsáveis pela diferenciação adequada que permi-ta a implantação.Este artigo revisa a função de alguns destes elementos críticos da implantação.
