Abstract
Les programmes d’entraînement aux habiletés sociales chez les enfants agressifs sont largement utilisés dans le cadre de programmes de prévention visant à contrer les risques de violence, de délinquance et de décrochage scolaire. L’efficacité de ces programmes est toutefois très variable. Ce texte passe en revue les paramètres susceptibles de favoriser ou de freiner les effets de ces programmes. Ceux-ci sont considérés comme des variables potentiellement modératrices pouvant affecter à la hausse ou à la baisse l’impact des programmes d’entraînement aux habiletés sociales. Certains paramètres se rapportent aux caractéristiques des participants ou aux caractéristiques de leur milieu de vie, alors que d’autres sont liés à l’intervention même. La conclusion fait ressortir l’importance de l’étude de ces variables afin d’améliorer les programmes d’entraînement aux habiletés sociales.
