Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Having considered the early history of dental nursing and particularly the establishment of dental nursing within the UK, this chapter will take a wider view of dental nursing outside the UK. We will include New Zealand, Canada and North America but also Europe and touch lightly on other countries across the world. Comparisons will be made to show the difference in content of roles across the globe and consider the wider social and gender perspectives. The chapter will trace the profession of dental nursing and how a job became the profession it is today. We look at the ups and downs, the pros and cons for dental nurses and dentistry as the profession is developed and launched. The ramifications and impact on individuals and the working environment are also reviewed.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
