Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) Usaha Madani merupakan lembaga usaha desa yang ada di Jl. Poros, Desa Air Panas, Kecamatan Pendalian IV Koto, Kabupaten Rokan Hulu Provinsi Riau. Salah satu fasilitas pelayanan yang ditawarkan pada BUMDes Usaha Madani adalah sistem pelayanan simpan pinjam keuangan. BUMDes Usaha Madani saat ini melakukan pendaftaran anggota masih secara konvensional dengan cara calon anggota harus datang langsung ke BUMDes dan pengelolaan keuangan juga masih manual yaitu petugas menggunakan buku besar untuk pencatatan transaksi simpan pinjam, kalkulator untuk perhitungan, dan Microsoft Excel untuk membuat laporan. Hal ini tentunya sangat tidak efektif dan efesien karena membutuhkan banyak waktu dan rentan terjadi kesalahan, serta adanya kemunkinan buku rusak, hilang ataupun sobek dan kesalahan pada waktu menghitung. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada pada BUMDes Usaha Madani, maka diberikan solusi dengan membangun sistem informasi simpan pinjam untuk menggantikan pekerjaan yang masih secara manual menjadi berbasis komputer dengan metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) dengan model proses waterfall. Pengembangan dan penerapan sistem informasi simpan pinjam berbasis web ini bertujuan membantu dan mempermudah proses pendaftaran calon anggota, mempermudah anggota dan petugas dalam melakukan pengelolaan simpan pinjam pada BUMDes Usaha Madani dengan lebih efektif dan efisien, serta bisa di akses oleh anggota dan petugas melalui perangkat elektronik yang terhubung dengan internet
