L’État social, qui est entré depuis les années 1980 dans une logique marchande, soumet aujourd’hui le service public à un nouveau défi : celui du capitalisme de plateforme. Le périmètre de l’action humaine des services publics ne cesse de se réduire au profit de l’augmentation des entreprises privées digitalisées (start-ups), ce qui a pour conséquence l’invisibilité de l’usager. Comment cette transformation réinterroge-t-elle la place des services publics traditionnels, mais également la place de la solidarité dans des politiques publiques digitalisées ? Que devient l’activité du service public lorsque l’usager n’est plus visible ?
