Cet article examine l’impact de la DNUDPA dans le champ des arts et du patrimoine. À partir de trois exemples – les arts visuels, les musées et la protection du caribou forestier – l’article montre que la Déclaration, depuis son adoption en 2007, est un levier important pour la protection, la transmission et le développement des arts et des patrimoines matériels et immatériels autochtones. La DNUDPA trace également la voie, aussi bien à l’échelle planétaire que locale, vers une autodétermination culturelle des peuples autochtones.
