Abstract
Banana Bending is the first book to offer a comparative study of diasporic Asian literatures in Australia and Canada, arguing that while contingent coalitions between diasporic groups serve various politicizing and promotional purposes, artistic and cultural struggles manifest themselves within localized spaces.
