Abstract
The article tells about the XVI All-Russian Scientifi c and Practical Conference of the society “ Encyclopedia of the Russian Villages ” (Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov , 2022). This meeting took place under the name of “ Rural Russia: Past and Present ”. Such event traditionally aimed at the popularization of local history researches and studies based on library history , book archives and regional periodicals .
