Abstract
Dans cet article, l’auteur voudrait montrer que la confiance ne compte comme un problème d’ordre général que dans une configuration particulière où l’on suppose que la conscience intime des individus est totalement inaccessible et que rien n’assure de la sincérité des déclarations de chacun. Il propose des jalons de cette histoire à partir de quelques réflexions de différents auteurs et à partir de certaines pratiques sociales où l’on voit se mettre en place une telle conception, et comment elle engage ainsi à créer le concept de médium afin de thématiser et de problématiser les communications entre intériorités. Il propose enfin une lecture du film The Disorderly Orderly (1964) de Frank Tashlin avec Jerry Lewis comme déconstruction du mythe de l’intériorité des consciences.
